Contemporary
If the story reveals that magic, magical creatures, or the supernatural exist and that this existence must be secret, it falls under the contemporary Fantasy forum. Harry Potter is an example of a Contemporary Fantasy however it has its own board in the Book, Movies forum.

Medieval
Fantasy that mixes with the Medieval age! Swords and kingdoms and crazy wizards named merlin might pop up but seriously you should check these sites first hand to understand more. There is a lot more to medieval roleplay than swords, elements and kings.
